The Last Secret of Galileo

Rebecca de Cardinale, a young and brilliant microbiologist, is drawn by a university professor into a search as unusual as it is unsettling: to find a lost posthumous book by Galileo Galilei. According to the professor, in those pages the scientist had demonstrated a link between the cyclical passage of certain meteor showers and the most devastating epidemics in history.

But Rebecca is not the only one searching for the manuscript. When the professor disappears and a series of brutal ritual murders seems to point directly to her, the search becomes a race against time. At Rebecca's side is Alessandro Vinci, a university researcher with a dark past and motives that are not always easy to decipher.
